Participated At Dharma Camp

It started first when my friend lijie asked me to help out in first Buddhist Camp, even though I am not a Buddhism but I am curious how it run. Without thinking much I join in to take part with Will Lim, Wilson Lee, Yin Yee, Kim, Kenley and of course lijie.

Before the camp, we prepare 2 weeks before for it, at the meeting is tough haha.. too many thing to discuss and this camp have a proper system to follow since is not the first "Ai Wo Ching Nia" (Our Youth, Our Love) just that it is the first English version.

The camp is tough haha.. I was doing few people job and commitee friends are tired also, despite all the tiredness and conflict we had, I just wanna say we all did a great job and we gain something back in return :)

To all campus.. I sorry i didn't have time to be friends :) but do stay in touch yar.. at camp I was abit busy here and there, to all commitee, sorry if i mislead u guys and created some conflict but at the end the most important is we done it as one :)

To will lim our camp leader
Even though u are soft leader, but u are helpful and kind and good. you always don wan to cause troublesome to others, and u always put trouble to yourself that why i always keep an eye to you, don wan people to take advangtage of u. Sorry if i nag u so much, cuz i just don wan others to use u.

To Wilson
I so glad to see you learn something at the camp, you learn how to handle song, PA system and make a lot of new friends. I also see u become more independent and u always smiling haha..
sorry i left u alone with shen chieh without help u more :P

To Yin Yee
Nice to have a new friend on the list and join this camp with us. even though you are under my leadership but i think u did more than i expected.. i hardly guide u much also haha u did so well without i nag, I can see you be a very succesful in future. Sorry ah.. for anything i do haha

To Kimz.
haha... our dear game master on camp.. to be honest I didn't know i can be friends with u kim at the first time i knew u at college, but now u are just pure funny and cheerful woman. Glad to have u around, u bring laughter around everyone. Sorry for my decision and argue with u at camp yar haha. (i still remenber u kena mosquito kau kau!!)

To Lijie
haha u are really super woman.. but u have a great leadership also, i think better than me alot haha. so glad u help us in times of needs in camp even though u busy. Glad u asked us join too :)

haha... first time as MC really not bad at all, You did well at camp bro.. they have bring words to their ears as MC, bring fear to them as disciplin master also haha. Sorry wasn't able to help u alot.. was abit blur also haha

Haha u change my point of view to monks haha... got one for for u 3F. funny, fun and friendly and also abit unpredictable but nice to be there with sifu.

You are the BEST TREASURER I even met haha... you know when after camp, me and the rest concluded that u are really the best treasurer. Rm15 throughout the camp!! to kimz, me and lijie and wilson haha

You really did an amazing job to all group and included us as committee, Thanks you for taking the position from me when I am busy :)

To chern Nie and shen chieh
haha you both also like yin yee... I sorry i didn't guide u well but u did more that i expected haha.
shen chieh, PA system look good, U did so well for first time, I cannot see about technical error haha

My first visit to Redang

On the date of 25-27 of July was my best vacation ever, the blue sea, sunny sky, sandy beach and all we do is just hang out and snorkeling haha. We kind of invited by a friend who already planned the trip, so six of us just hop in.



We had a tons of fun there, especially 3 snorkeling and own snorkeling near by the resort. We visit a giant eel and grouper fish, it both share the same coral cave, and scary to get to near haha, it remind me that Wilson push Lijie too near to the eel and it scare Lijie haha, bad Wilson. and the first snorkeling trip is so funny, our dear friend will. Will wasn't use to water, even though he was wearing the safety suit, he still have fear for the see. First when each take turn to jump into water, Lijie and will jumped in, follow by me. will was panic when he saw the deep of ocean, he grab on onto Lijie and push her deeper and when Lijie saw me, he pass will to me and he also push me as i am the floater haha, I AM NOT WEARING safety floater!! then i use tons of energy to send him back to the boat haha, is not easy with the current and the only swimming with hands, because will was grabbing my waist.

I love the environment of Redang Island, just hope that it will be preserve as long as in the future, well I can say a lot inconsiderate tourism throwing plastic bag into the sea, sea turtle thought is jelly fish and they ate, and sun lotion killing the coral, it is sad thought. But really hope I could stay longer even if it mend i have to work there haha.


This trip cost each of us a fortune, but we had tons of good experience and memory, all of us miss that moment and want to learn diving haha.. We try to go for perhentian next year :) cheers

Working for 15 hours

August 6 of 2009. Got a call one day before from Heng Hyong, asking me to work at Jusco Bukit Rajah, for the J-card day. I got the job along with Wilson,Will and Yin Yee. when working the briefing was very hard to remember haha, then the auntie said, the more u ask, the more u will be confuse haha.

Well.. starting at first.. we were blur.. fearing what will happen if we mess up, but thanks goodness we met a few nice friends that helping us to locate the shoe and guiding us. But the point i wanna make it is damn hard job! We stand for hours and if customer ask for a shoe, we have to run to store room which at the end of the market. Imagine we run here and there for 14 hours and only half an hour break for lunch and dinner haha, but auntie was good to buy us free food, chicken rice for lunch and KFC for dinner :P which i suggested.

It is not easy... working from 9am til the next 12am. when morning we woke up, leg pain til and feeling the leg is growing haha. One more thing i learn is Malay race customer are better than chinese haha, because when they want it, they will buy it. For chinese are too fussy haha :p its true

A Journey To Australia

This will be my first Journey to australia, acompany by my brother. Before even we pack to leave we forgot about to apply visa to stay, Praise God for even helping us for our last minute careless mistake, but the toll of mistake cause us to miss the bus to singapore! And God Grace is upon us for a last minute bus!
Wow! I never knew taking a fly to Australia is quite a energy consuming, a lot of patience and document to fil in. Really praise God that bring us journey mercy to Perth(in Australia) then take another fly to Adelaide(also Australia), from there my dad will pick us up to Rode(town). 3 months from now is about 90 days to spend in Australia, I pray to God to help me to spend my time wisely and fruitly and of course purposeful. And also i will like to find out whats the next course to study.

My beloved “butter Prawn” story

I love the sea food meal call "butter Prawn" it is amazing delicious and the way to cook and presentation is just beautiful. I first ate butter prawn if i remember well, it is from my grandma, she love us and she knows i love her butter prawn. So in every-time i will visit her and saying, " grandma! grandma! can i have prawn??" of course she will cook it for me, when she cooks , the aroma of the butter just fill the whole house. The best thing was it is cook only for me!! no one to share!! Muahahaha(evil laugh)
Well my grandma isn’t around anymore… i do miss her a lot . But she did leave me a mark that i will remember her forever, even i become a grandpa. She left me a "seafood allergic" ha-ha.. really maybe because i ate too much in the past, now if i take over a limited seafood, especially prawns. I tongue will feel itch. " I love you grandma!! I will always remenber you grandma and your butter prawns!!"

My dad cooks the best butter prawn now, other than my grandma. He even won the awards of the "curry prawn in claypot" in australia!! CHEF ROCKS!!

My childhoon thoughts about “old”

hmm…. Let me recall and tell you a true story about me. David(me) once upon a time which only 5 or 7 years old boy. I always being a crybaby kid and think a lot about getting old, not for me but mostly to my mom and dad.
I love my parents. And i am very close to my mom and she always chat with me and i love to ask stupid question and funny one, which make me laugh out loud whenever my mom answer me with stupid answer too haha, especially "where babys come from".. ahemm hahah.
My childhood is quite interesting for me to know, or interesting enough. So i watch alot of movies, from horror to drama. So i can proudly say, now have none of the horror movie can haunt me now. So that one question always in my mind during my childhood, about getting old one day and pass on.. like what in the movie showing. And the sign of getting old is white hair… and the worse is my mom always ask me to get rid of her white hair… soo means she is getting old and she will pass away in time..
I don know what to do…. all i do is cry when on one is seeing. I cry everyday and every 7pm or 8pm. I choose that time because it is the most quiet and the only time i can go into the dark room and cry to myself because i don know what to do… i being crying to myself in a long long time almost everyday in few months.
And one day.. both of my sister realized, maybe because i cry to loud or maybe i being crying almost everyday in a same time in the room. So my sisters ask me,, when i cry? i just answer.." I don wanna mom to die….(sob loudly). they wanted for me to stop and comfort me with this "beautiful lie" haha.. well it is.. they told me this," people don get old.. hong(my name)… they just coloured it" and i believed them lol… how silly i was… but they did make me stop crying by saying a lie haha.

David in Australia’s adventure:part one> craigfish hunting

Good day mate!! haha i had my awesome experience in Feb 2008 in my second home in Australia, a small town named Robe. My dad’s friends invited my family for a ride in their boat and bring us to see what it like to catch crayfish(lobster) ha ha this is one great experience offer by 2 Australia(Shane and killsby) free of charge.
In an cold morning woken by a invitation to catches cray, i got up and full of adventurous mood ha ha. we got to the harbor only like 3 min away in drive. Shane and killsby is waiting for us in a small yacht but a real nice one, she is a beauty. And off we start the engine motor, getting exciting with this moment. and once after we get off the harbor, and killsby is driving even faster! and this is heck of a bumpy ride, i could have fallen off the yacht anytime! and it was a scares moment while fighting with the wave, i even took alot of strength to hold on to anything that prevent me from "bye bye David and enjoy the water"
wow… the sun is bright and the sea is a beauty, with the wind and the waves, it was a spectacular indeed, just amazing. but the wind is chilling cold, we were freezing. We came to this floating thingy which tell us where is the Cray’s cage are. When killsby drove the yacht next to the floats, and Shane will hook it up with a hook(duh) and pull all the way up til the boat. aww…. cuz the first cage was empty.. well Shane change the bait with some fish’s head and abalone(waste!! ha ha) and throw it back in the sea. We came til the last cages, it wasn’t empty but it is not a crayfish sign… but a snapper fish ha ha. well by law we still can’t keep the snapper because it is not in the legal size yet. (FYI: Australia have laws even fishing, that why i love this country, to prevent over catching til near extinction). well we all say our bye bye to the snapper fish and threw away.
We couldn’t get any crayfish that day but we cheated hahaha we asked Shane to go buy some crayfish and bring it back to the restaurant for some lunch!! hahahaha well at least i have fun and the rest(Shane,killsby,my both sister and my bro-in-law)
PS: thanks for the ride! OZ Shane and killsby ha ha, i wannabe OZ too!
