Hey hey.. I love cooking, cooking is like a creative arts for me, since i cannot draw or design. So I cook, mix the ingredient and poof!! you got a new taste haha.. Well I am not a chef, and don think so future i will be, even though i came from chef family background but cooking for me is a interests not a career :)
Remember I wrote on the post called " Not So Bad Monday"? that Monday i cooked lasagna and cabonara. So now i gonna list down the recipe, you can have my recipe since it is a blessing given to me, why not i bless my dear readers, cheers :)
Recipe For Lasagna V.David
- Olive oil/ vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 250g/1 can of buttons mushrooms
- 125g of ham, slices
- 500g meat (chicken/bacon/beef/seafood)
- 250g of cream cheesev
- tomato paste for colouring and taste
- 4-6 tbsp of milk
- lasagna noodle
- pecorino/cheddar / Parmesan cheese
- and mozarella cheese
- salt and pepper ( to taste)
- 40g butter
- 40g flour/potato starch
- 600ml milk
- a bit of cheese
- salt and pepper
How to make
- Heat the oil in a frying pan, fry onion and garlic for 3 minutes (moderate heat). Add mushroom and cook for 2 minutes; now add the meat and stir it.
- After few minutes add cream cheese and few tbsp of milk to make it moist. heat until the cheese melt. Season with salt, pepper. Add tomato paste to colour it to a bit red.
- when it done, put it aside
- melt the butter in a saucepan and stir in flour/starch. cook gently with low heat.
- Slowly whisk with milk, by pouring milk slowly
- Keep whisking all the time until thick and smooth.
- sprinkles some cheese and season it with salt and pepper.
- Usually I cooked 6 slices of lasagna noodles on one oven proof dish
- first layer, spread some white sauce below and then cover it with first later of lasagna
- put the cooked meat on top of the lasagna noodles and some cheese over it.
- On the last layer, cover the white sauce on top of the noodle and pour mozzarella cheese and other cheese.
- put in the oven about 220F for 20min-30min. or until brown
